Okay, here it is, the remake of my 2003 Chevrolet Impala. There will be different versions (Taxi/Police/Undercover/Impala SS) of it, so its going to be a big project. Here are some screens and wires:



As you can see there are no textures at the car itself, the wheels should be final tho.

now... as much as an can appreciate the level of detail there... WHY??? when its gunna be covered with a door and barely ever seen.. for a 3d model i think its fantastic.. but for a game like gta i dont see the point..

Yeah I have to agree lol. But why not, GT5 cars are also rediculously detailed for nothing. And Im sure this model will get into such a game someday. So its not only for GTA SA or IV, Im sure there will be guys (maybe even I) who want to see this car in other next gen games. Mh, whatever xD

hehe as long as those "ignored" details don't increase too many polys of the car, i think that is ok to keep them
